General

At Hololabs, we take privacy seriously and this policy is designed to share what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

In order to improve our products and provide better user experiences, we collect anonymous information such as events completed and actions taken within our projects. This data is collected using third-party services provided by Google and Unity Technologies. Each mobile application we develop should provide additional information accessible through the "Data Privacy" button in the Settings Menu, where you can view what information was collected by these services. You should also be able to request that your data be removed from their server(s).

More details about Unity’s Privacy Policy can be found here: https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy

For Google-related data collection, please refer to the privacy policies of these third-party services for more information:

For fans who subscribe to our newsletters, we do collect personally identifiable information such as name and email addresses, but these are strictly used only for that purpose and are not shared with any third parties. The newsletters are not intended for children under the age of 13. All data related to the newsletter is managed by our mailing list service provider, MailChimp. You can read MailChimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

We do not automatically collect personal information through our website(s).

YOUR ACCESS TO AND CONTROL OVER INFORMATION

You may ask us to delete any information about you at any time by contacting us via the contact email address on this website. To delete data collected by the game, use the "Data Privacy" button in the Settings Menu and follow the dialogue.

CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT

Please refer to the Privacy Policy for each unique game to see if it complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). For these products (eg, The Wollstonecraft Detective Agency), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 years old. If a user is identified as under 13 years old, we will not collect or use any information of this user and we will delete any information already received in a secure manner.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not share your personal information for marketing purposes, but anonymous information may be shared with third parties to help us run and maintain our services.

SECURITY

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way.

UPDATES

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time as we add new or different features, or as the law changes. All updates will be posted on this page and unless another date is given, the changes are effective upon posting. If we make a material change to this policy we will post notice here before making the change and will use whatever other means we can (such as the newsletters, email, social media, etc.) to notify you about the changes.
