Mike Wozniewski and Paul Warne announce the creation of Hololabs Studio, a privately-owned Montreal research & development company specializing in mixed reality technologies. Their mission is to develop imaginative and meaningful ways for people to connect through creative new forms of expression.With more than 20 years of combined professional experience in videogame production and interactive new-media development, Mike and Paul’s past works include the tele-presence installation “Breaking the Ice”, created with the Society for Arts and Technology [SAT] and featured at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Their debut mobile Augmented Reality project “Empire ISIS AR” has recently completed production and will be available on Apple’s App Store later this month. They are currently in production on their next mobile AR App, MixAR, which will empower users to create their own AR content using their iPhone.
